The youth wing of Satya Sai Seva organisation, Vizag district, has taken the initiative of spreading the safety awareness amongst the auto drivers by fixing safety slogan stickers on autos with the consent of the auto drivers and owners.
Visakhapatnam: The youth wing of Satya Sai Seva organisation, Vizag district, has taken the initiative of spreading the safety awareness amongst the auto drivers by fixing safety slogan stickers on autos with the consent of the auto drivers and owners.
The stickers carry ‘Life is more precious than speed’, ‘Start early, drive slowly, reach safely’, ‘ABC- Avoid Bad Company’ and were fixed by the youth on autos on Friday, a release from the organisation said.
It is planned to put up such stickers on at least 1,000 autos in Visakhapatnam district. The above service was carried out as part of several activities planned by the organisation in connection with the ensuing 91st birth anniversary celebrations of Sathya Saibaba ( November 23).
SG Chalam, State president of the organisation for Andhra Pradesh and Telangana, and VR Nageswara Rao, district president, lauded the efforts of the youth in promoting safety awareness. S Ramesh, district youth coordinator, and several youth participated in the programme.
