The devasthanam authorities performed special pujas with bilwa dalams and ekadasa rudrabhishekams.
A large number of devotees visited the temple and performed pujas.The temple authorities made elaborate arrangements on the occasion for the convenience of the devotees.
Meanwhile, Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Kodela Siva Prasada Rao on Monday made giri pradakshanam to Kotappakonda along with his family on the auspicious occasion.
Speaking to the media, Kodela Siva Prasada Rao said that 8 km road would be developed to make giri pradashanam easy for devotees and also to attract more devotees to the holy shrine.
