Two die while waiting in queues to exchange currency notes

Currency ban has surely hit the common public harder as the struggle continues in banks and ATMs. However, two elderly persons faced a tragic end on Wednesday while waiting in in queues to exchange demonetised currency notes.

A 70-year-old woman, K Vijayalaxmi who was standing in a queue at the SBI branch in Vuyyuru of Krishna district, collapsed clutching her chest. While she was rushed to the hospital immediately, the doctors said that she had suffered a heart attack and declared her brought dead.

In an another tragic incident that took place in Guntur district, a 67-year-old man, Polanki Innaiah collapsed at the Andhra Bank branch in Phiranagipuram while waiting in line to deposit demonetised currency notes.
