TTD chief calls on oncologist in US
The TTD chairman along with group of employees came to US in connection with conducting Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavam in Guruvayur temple in New Jersey.
Tirupati: TTD chairman Dr Ch Krishnamurthy formally met famous oncologist Padma Shri Dr Nori Dattatreyudu in New Jersey on Thursday and sought his co-operation to establish a super specialty cancer institute in the temple city of Tirupati. He said the TTD will also extend its support towards the same.
The TTD chairman along with group of employees came to US in connection with conducting Sri Venkateswara Vaibhavam in Guruvayur temple in New Jersey.
The chairman also requested the NRIs to contribute donations for starting cancer institute in Tirupati as per the wish of Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu for the sake of poor and needy in the backward area of Rayalaseema.
Dattatreyudu gave his consent to extend support for setting up a cancer hospital at the pilgrim centre, according to a TTD press release here on Thursday.
