The CEO directed the Collectors to give a wide publicity urging voters to enroll themselves at the polling stations. He instructed the Collectors to update the applications received for graduates constituency and teachers’ constituency within two days. He further stated to publish a voter list by November 23 and final list after scrutiny based on complaints. The Collector informed the CEO that
​Kurnool: State Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) Bhanwarlal directed the District Collector to enroll the names of applicants in the electoral list after a thorough scrutiny. Speaking to District Collectors through a video conference on Friday, Bhanwarlal said applications received under special voters’ list enrolment drive were still pending. He said names will be included in the electoral list after verification of Form 6, 7, 8 and 8A while the voters’ enrolment will be completed by December 28.

The Collector informed the CEO that 28,093 applications are still pending. The Collector said 87057 applications had been received for inclusion of names in electoral rolls for graduates’ constituency and 7419 for teachers’ constituency.Vijay Mohan brought to the notice of the CEO that district administration is making special arrangements for voters’ enrollment process as per the revised schedule of the State Election Commission.
He further said measures have been initiated to appoint a special officer in every constituency for giving wide publicity to enrollment of voters. Joint Collector-2 Rama Swamy, Srisailam Project Special Collector Subba Reddy, District Revenue Officer Gangadhar Goud, Kurnool and Nandyal Revenue Divisional Officers L Raghu Babu and Sudhakar Reddy, Zilla Parishad Chief Executive Officer Eshwar, District Panchyat Officer Anand, Tahsildars and Returning Officers were present.
