Vijayawada: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) Mahila Morcha national in-charge Dattubati Purandeswari said that BJP national president Amit Shah would address a farmers’ meeting at Tadepalligudem on November 26.

She said the BJP leaders would highlight the welfare schemes being implemented by the NDA government for the benefit of farmers.Speaking to reporters here on Saturday, Purandeswari said the BJP-led government at the Centre was implementing many welfare schemes like PM Fazal Bheema scheme, distributing soil health cards and connecting the market yards to secure information about the prices of agriculture products.

She said the BJP State unit will conduct Rythu Maha Sabha on November 26 in Tadepalligudem of West Godavari district. Referring to Demonetisation, the BJP Mahila Morcha leader said the Central government banned the notes of high denomination to unearth the black money and hoped the measure would help in reducing the black money menace in the country.

Asked about the problems being faced by crores of people in India due to demonetisation, she said initially such problems would arise and all the issues would be solved by the government.Speaking on the black money, she said the Central government has identified 600 cases and criminal procedures started in 64 cases.

She said the government began printing of new currency notes and they would reach the people in different phases.She said the surgical strikes conducted on Pakistani targets boosted the morale of Indian soldiers.The BJP leader said foreign tours conducted by Prime Minister Narendra Modi were very useful to the country and they helped India to isolate Pakistan after Uri attacks in Jammu and Kashmir. BJP leaders Velampalli Srinivas, Srinivasa Raju, Shaik Baji and P Dileep were present.
