Demonetisation is undemocratic: CPI

CPI district secretary P Kameswara Rao said that they should have made and alternative arrangements before taking the decision. The Union government has waived the thousands of crores of loans belonging to corporate companies, but at the same time the common man is struggling to get Rs 500 from his own account from banks.
“We are demanding the banks supply notes in smaller denominations and the government should allow the people to withdraw the amount without any limit for their requirement, marriages and medical expenses,” he said.
