Andhra Pradesh Minister for Health and Medical Education, Kamineni Srinivas addressed the media on Thursday in Tirupati announcing the state government's decision to introduce 'Health for all’ scheme from January 1, 2017.

Elaborating further, the Minister said that the family health schem can be availed on a payment of Rs.100 by every member of the family and anyone can enroll under the scheme. He said that the details are being worked out and will soon be finalized.

Mr Srinivas added that currently, 4.70 crore people in the State are covered by the NTR Vaidya Seva or by the Employees’ Health Scheme, so the new scheme will be aimed to cover the remaining people.
