Vizianagaram: Collector and Sports authority of Vizianagaram district chairman Vivek Yadav informed that district level sports competitions and selections would be held on December 2 and 3 as part of ‘Khelo India competetitions2016-17’.
The competitions would be conducted in various categories like under-14, under-17 for both boys and girls in football, hockey, kabaddi, kho kho, archery, boxing and weight lifting.
He said that around 1400 students from various mandals were expected to participate in the event and added that the district level selections would also be held during the competitions
