Rampa Chodavaram: IAS officer A S Dinesh Kumar who served as Assistant Director in Indian Revenue Services and Sub-collector in West Godavari district, has now assumed charge as 40th project officer for ITDA, Rampa Chodavaram at PO chamber in Rampa Chodavaram on Thursday.
Speaking on the occasion, Dinesh Kumar promises to work of the welfare development of tribals after studying their conditions and assured that his priorities will be education, health, skill development, internal connectivity, and implementation of rehabilitation package for displaced in Polavaram project and under employment guarantee scheme. He explained that steps will be taken to provide quality medical services in the Agency area and monitor attendance of medical officers and staff in the agency area.
He further said that impetus will be put end to seasonal diseases and malaria in the agency area. He informed that steps will be taken to provide quality and productive in tribal schools and added focus will be put on conducting digital classrooms and provide amenities in schools. He made it clear that innovative programmes will be taken up to prove career guidance and personality development in order to put the tribal students on par with the competitive world.
He further said that the steps will be taken to enhance the skill development among tribals in order to get them suitable employment. He explained that RR package will be provided in phased manner for the displaced people due to Polavaram project with humanity and their culture in mind.
