Medicines worth `1 lakh donated to KSMC
City-based businessman KV Chowdary donated Rs 1 lakh worth of medicines to ‘Koratala Satyanarayana Medical Centre (KSMC)’ here on Thursday.
Tirupati: City-based businessman KV Chowdary donated Rs 1 lakh worth of medicines to ‘Koratala Satyanarayana Medical Centre (KSMC)’ here on Thursday.
Chowdary, who is an active member of Tirupati Chamber of Commerce (TCC), along with the support of other members of the association, purchased the medicine for donating it to KSMC which has been providing free medical services including medicine, daily to people in the city. The medicines were handed over by Chowdary to CPM district secretary K Kumar Reddy and KSMC convener Udaya Kumar at the centre located in CPM district office here.
Thanking Chowdary and other members of TCC for their contribution to KSMC, Kumar Reddy called on the people to come forward for donation of medicines to the centre for serving needy in the city. TCC president Manjunath, CITU district general secretary K Murali, AIDWA district secretary Sailakshmi and others were present.
