Visakhapatnam: The Rajbhasha seminar on usage of technical and administrative terminology, organised at INS Eksila, a premier technical establishment of ENC, in collaboration with Commission for Scientific and Technical Terminology (CSTT), New Delhi concluded here on Thursday.
Vice Admiral and Chief of Staff ENC AK Jain was the chief guest for the valedictory function. Padmabhushan awardee and former MP and member of Kendriya Hindi Salahkar Samithi, New Delhi , Y Lakshmi Prasad was the guest of honour while Chandralekha Mukherjee, Divisional Railway Manager and Chairman of Town Official Language Implementation Committee was the special invitee.
A book titled `Rajbhasha Pusthika’ on terminology was released during the seminar by the dignitaries. Speaking on the occasion, Vice Admiral Jain lauded the efforts of CSTT in designing and diffusing new terminology which had emerged in the recent past. Lakshmi Prasad and Chandralekha Mukherjee also spoke on the occasion. The two-day Rajbhasha Seminar was inaugurated by Vice Admiral SR Sarma, DGNP (V) in presence of P Madhusudan, CMD, RINL on Wednesday.
