Puttaparthi (Anantapur): Sathya Sai Baba Central Trust which organised its 5-day celebrations of the 91st birth anniversary of the Sai Baba concluded its observance of the anniversary her on Thursday amidst pomp and gaiety offering to the general public a feast of cultural programmes in which several Sathya Sai organisations participated apart from the trust run schools. Trust member S S Naganand presented the annual report on the various activities sponsored by the trust and other related developments.

Three new trustees were also inducted into the trust while the longest serving trustee V Sreenivasan opted out of the trust citing old age. Dr Narendranath Reddy and Nimish Pandya, respective heads of the Sathya Sai Organisations, Overseas and India, spoke on the legacy and glory of Bhagavan, enlightening the audience of some of the beautiful facets of acts of love happening around the world. Senior trustee Sreenivasan welcomed special government dignitaries from the State of Sikkim that included the Assembly Speaker and two Ministers. The students of Sathya Sai schools and colleges presented hymns glorifying the Bhagavan.

The student fraternity profusely thanked Bhagavan for His ‘Beauty Beyond Compare’ and for showering incomparable blessings on them. The atmosphere at the concluding session was blissful and it was joy abounding all over. Prasanthi remained joyfully bustling with renewed vigour and vitality, reliving her nostalgia incomparable. The auspicious proceedings concluded with a percussion display by the university boys, playing to the tune of melodious Prasanthi Bhajans.
