Ratio of each caste in population count will be known soon, says Chandrababu

The ruling party TDP is facing turmoil with the constant tussle between the Kapus and the BC Community. While the Kapus have been demanding reservation for the community, the BC are protesting against it.

Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu addressed the issue on Sunday informing that the ratio of each and every caste will be known shortly.

Elaborating further, he said that the claims of the caste-based leaders on their share in the population count are false and added that all the castes are equal for him.

Stating that he would fulfill all the assurances made during the election campaign, Chandrababu said that he is committed to the promises made to the Kapus, hence Justice Manjunatha Commission has been constituted while the poor in the community would recieve reservation on par with the Backward Castes.

However, the Chief Minister asserted that the others won't be meted to any injustice and added that the BCs are the backbone of Telugu Desam.

He also opined that as Kapus are already playing an active role in politics, they don't need reservation.
