Kakinada: Rich tributes were paid to Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at a programme organised here on Saturday. Speaking on the occasion district Collector H Arun Kumar said that youth should emulate the ideals of Ambedkar to reach great heights in life.

The Collector also said that the day - November 26 holds its own significance as the Constitution bill was introduced in Parliament on the day.

City MLA V Venkateswara Rao and ZP chairman Namana Rambabu said that Ambedkar has taken every care in writing the Indian Constitution ensuring justice to all sections, cultures, traditions and customs; particularly the poor and down trodden. BC Corporation ED M Jyoti, DWMA PD Nageswara Rao and heads of various departments were present.
