Nellore: Viswasai Junior College Chairman Dr Satyanarayana and Vice-Chairman G Krishnamohan felicitated their student K Lakshmi Kausalya with a bouquet as she was selected for the national-level skating competitions at a felicitation function here in the college premises, Maganti Layout.
Kausalya won gold and silver medals in road and rink-2 events respectively conducted by Andhra Pradesh School Games Federation (APSGF) held in Kakinada, East Godavari district from November 18 to 20. She is selected for national-level skating competitions to be held from December 21 to 25, 2016 in Belgaum, Karnataka.
The Chairman and Vice-Chairman wished her success in the national level competitions. They said the institution has been encouraging students to excel in studies and sports simultaneously. The College Chairperson Rukmini along with teaching and non-teaching staff were present in the function.
