Bharat Bandh: Jana Sena, YSRCP activists protest against demonetization in Vijayawada

With the Bharat Bandh called today, the Jana Sena and YSR Congress parties took to protest against demonetization in Vijayawada.

Slamming Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the BJP government for the high denomination currency ban, Jana Sena activists lamented on the poor way the demonetisation drive is implemented.

While the common public are struggling to meet their daily expenses due to the currency ban, the protestors questioned the purpose of introducing Rs 2000 notes after scrapping big notes - Rs 500 and Rs 1000.

YSR Congress activists faulted the way the currency ban is being implemented across the country affecting the lives of the people.
