Original certificates must for constable test: Prakasam SP

Ongole: The State Level Police Recruitment Board (SLPRB) announced the schedule for the physical fitness test for those who were qualified in the preliminary test(held on Nov 11) from December 1 to 6.

The SLPRB allocated 5,979 candidates from the total 1,16,217 qualified candidates to Prakasam district for Physical Measurement and Physical Efficiency Tests (PMT & PETs).

The Prakasam district SP Dr CM Trivikrama Varma announced in a statement that the SLPRB allocated 5,554 men and 425 women candidates to the district for the PMT and PET. The qualified candidates should report at the reception of district police office on the date and time printed on the hall ticket available for download on the website http://recruitment.appolice.gov.in.

The SP said the candidates should bring the original education, nativity, caste, ex-service men and other certificates for relaxations. If any candidate failed to bring the original certificate he/she would not be allowed for the PMT & PET, he added.

“The eligible candidates should bring the filled in Form-II downloaded from the website along with the certificates. First the PMT would be conducted for the men and women and those who get qualified in the PMT, would be sent for 1,600 m run.

After a few minutes rest, the qualified candidates would be sent to 100m run and long jump. The candidates appearing for the AR constable posts should qualify in the 100m run and long jump, while the candidates appearing for the civil constables and jail warden posts need to qualify at least one of them,” the SP added He further said that those who have successfully completed the PMT and PET would be given result sheet and memo for appearing in the final written test scheduled to be held January 22, 2017.
