Banaganapalle: Thousands of devotees thronged the Uma Maheswara Swami temple here on Monday to take darshan on the final Monday of the auspicious month of Kartheeka. Devotees took a holy dip in Pedda Koneru, lit lamps and performed special pujas.
Devotees from various States braved long queues to have a glimpse of the Lord Venkateswara and the Agastamuni caves were brimming with devotees.
Temple executive officer Adi Seshu Naidu distributed ‘teertha prasadam’ to the devotees and Annadanam was arranged under the aegis of the choultry general secretary Yaganti Reddy.
