Bhimavaram: Narsapur Sub-Collector Sumith Kumar Gandhi called on the educated youth to create awareness among urban and rural people on cashless transactions. Also urges traders to procure more e-PoS machines to usher in online transactions.

He was addressing the orientation and training classes on cashless transactions to the students of various colleges and officials of various mandals in Narsapuram division held at Sri Vishnu College meeting hall on Thursday Speaking on the occasion, he said that at present scenario, it is necessary to go cashless and suggested the traders use swipe machines for the online transactions and urged the people to use RuPay, mobile banking for their routine needs. He said that already swipe machines (e-PoS) have been distributed to the traders who are having bank accounts and asked the remaining traders to open current accounts so as to enable the administration to supply the swiping machines.

He said all necessary arrangements were made to supply swiping machines to the traders in Narsapur division.

He said the Jandhan Yojana account holder has sanctioned the RuPay card and if anyone did not receive the cards, they will also get it from the banks.
