Rain lashes pilgrim city

Tirupati: Intermittent rains lashed the pilgrim city which remained cloudy right from the morning on Thursday.

During the day, drizzles were experienced which turned as showers and intensified by evening due to depression in Bay of Bengal which is forming into Nada cyclone.

The pilgrim city despite the advent of winter experiencing the mercury level hovering around 30 degree Celsius like in summer and the rains brought down the mercury level bringing relief to the denizens.
