World AIDS Day observed
He said there is no medicine to complete cure to this disease and prevention is the only way. College Director Dr Sridhar said the main reason for the cause of this disease is the sexual intercourse and transfusion of the blood infected with the HIV and repeatedly using the syringes.Â
​Anantapur: The World AIDS Day was observed here in Balaji College of Pharmacy at Rudrampet on Thursday. Students and teaching staff of the college took out a rally in the city with placards and flexies. Speaking on the occasion, principal of the college Dr Hindustan Abdul Ahad said the Human Immunodeficiency Virus (HIV) will damage the immune system of the body.
He said there is no medicine to complete cure to this disease and prevention is the only way. College Director Dr Sridhar said the main reason for the cause of this disease is the sexual intercourse and transfusion of the blood infected with the HIV and
repeatedly using the syringes.
The speakers advised people to take utmost precautions to prevent the disease. The college representative K Srikant Reddy and PVKK Engineering College Principal Santhosh Kumar Reddy were also present.
