Men and women of Andhra Pradesh police won Handball Championship in the 65th All India Police Volleyball Cluster
Visakhapatnam: Men and women of Andhra Pradesh police won Handball Championship in the 65th All India Police Volleyball Cluster Championship-2016 that concluded here on Friday. Punjab police (men) emerged victorious in the final game of volleyball in the championship beating Kerala police and Kerala police (women) clinched the Volleyball Championship by beating Tamil Nadu in the finals.
In the final of basketball BSF defeated Punjab and in the women police category Kerala won the Basketball Championship by beating Punjab. Haryana won the championship in yoga. Vizag has hosted the championship at over five venues from November 28 to December 2.
In the valedictory ceremony, Director General of Police AP N Sambasiva Rao and HRD Minister Ganta Srinivasa Rao thanked the players and officials of the various teams which participated in the championship.
