Balakrishna applauds Chandrababu for releasing Krishna water into Gollapalli reservoir
Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu on Friday released the Krishna water into Gollapalli reservoir in Anantapur district and assured the public of supplying water to drought-hit district by interlinking rivers.

Applauding the move, Hindupur MLA Balakrishna praised Chandrababu for making the Handri-Neeva Sujala Sravanthi Project a reality.
Declaring that Chandrababu is capable of making the impossible happen, Balakrishna further said that former Chief Minister NT Rama Rao had laid the foundation for Handri-Neeva project and his dream has come true with the release of water from Gollapalli Reservoir.
The Hindupur MLA also said that due to the lack of sufficient water for irrigation, Rayalaseema continues to be a backward region but added that TDP Government is talking all the measures to make the region Rathanalaseema.
