Cashless transactions helpful: R P Sisodia

Vizianagaram: R P Sisodia, who is the nodal officer for Vizianagaram district, to monitor cashless transactions and promote the public towards the new method, said that cashless transactions are helpful to public and to the nation too.

On Friday, he visited Gotlam village in Bondapalli mandal in the district and interacted with people.

He said: “Developed countries like USA are adopting cashless transactions for purchasing, shopping which is easy and we need not carry notes in our pockets and hand bags. We need not worry about pick pockets. Simply, we can pay the bills. We need not worry about fake currency also. This is the safest mode and all of us should habituate to pay through bank cards, PayTM.”

Collector Vivek yadav said that the district administration is taking steps to drive the public of Vizianagaram towards cashless transactions and conducting awareness camps in every village and preparing them to pay their bills and others through swiping machines.

Even the workers of MGNREGS are being paid their wages through banks and ration shops also being provided e-PoS machines. Everybody should have bank account and should learn the transaction, he said.
