He visited agency mandals of Maredumilli and Rampa Chodavaram on Friday.

Earlier, he launched essential goods distribution programme on credit at ration depot near super bazaar. Speaking on the occasion, Arun Kumar said that tribals could get the ration for the present month on credit and could pay the amount in January, 2017.

He mentioned that the government has provided facility in the wake of demonetisation and white card holders could get essential goods on credit for the existing month. He mentioned that the proposals have been sent to set up 57 towers to improve communications in the agency area and added that these towers will be sanctioned very soon. He made it clear that employment guarantee scheme salaries and social pensions will be deposited directly in the accounts of beneficiaries and added that banking correspondents will be appointed in every village.
