‘Complete BRTS at brisk pace’
Municipal commissioner M Harinarayanan asked the engineering officials to complete the remaining BRTS road works at the earliest overcoming pending disputes by interacting with local people.
Visakhapatnam: Municipal commissioner M Harinarayanan asked the engineering officials to complete the remaining BRTS road works at the earliest overcoming pending disputes by interacting with local people.
As a part of his regular field visit on Friday, Harinarayanan visited the problematic areas of Jaggarao bridge, Akkayyapalem, Ernimamba temple, Gnanapuram and Marripalem main road and spoke to the residents.
After examining the problems, he gave suggestions for early completion and asked the officials to allocate the vacant site near the GVMC community hall, Syamnagar for those petty vendors who are doing business on the Marripalem main road.
Later, the Commissioner appealed to the public to cooperate with the officials for the completion of BRTS road. Superintendenting engineer S Mariyanna, executive engineer Venugopal, DCP Sunitha, DE Giri and town planning officer Naidu and others accompanied the civic chief.
