Cong slams Centre over people’s woes

Nellore: PCC vice-president S Sailajanath blamed the Central government for failing to take alternative measures in providing lower denomination notes to the people. He interacted with the media at Indira Bhavan here on Friday and lashed out at the BJP-led NDA government for their negligence over resolving woes of common people.

He asked how the signature of RBI Governor Urjit Patel had been placed if the new currency notes were printed six months ago. He also said that the Congress party would fight for the cause of Special Category Status which is very important for the progress of the State.
