Chirala: The Oreng Group of Chennai launched an incubation centre in Chirala Engineering College, Chirala on Friday. Pravin Kumar Jayakodi, Joshua from the Oreng and Syed Kamaluddin, principal, Yarlagadda Tiru Sameer from the college, present on the occasion along with the students and staff.
The company selected 17 students from the departments of CSE and ECE about two months ago to work in the incubation centre. The students would develop mobile applications and software the common man can use in his daily life.
The company provides a stipend of Rs 5,000 to the students. College joint secretary Tella Ashok Kumar has appointed five members from the college to coordinate with Oreng and guide students in the incubation centre.
