Ongole: Next Gen International School at Koppole near Ongole in Prakasam district achieved first rank in Andhra Pradesh and ninth rank in the country in India’s Top International Boarding Schools category in a survey conducted by the EducationToday.co website, a Dubai-based educational resources organisation. The survey was conducted in 836 schools in the country out of which 150 schools were shortlisted for the award.
Dr RLV Ramesh, principal of the school, explained that the selection is made considering 10 parameters like infrastructure, academic reputation, individual attention, innovation in teaching, safety and hygiene, sports education, holistic development, leadership management quality, co-curricular activities and value for money.
He said that the school has also received award as one of the best 20 ICSE schools in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
“This award will surely make us to be more responsible,” said the principal and thanked all his teaching and non teaching staff for their support and parents for their confidence in the school. The award will be presented to the school management on December 10 in the India’s School Merit Awards-2016 programme which will be held in Bengaluru.
