Hans India, HMTV win Journalists RSKL Title

Prajasakti and Eenadu- ETV secure second and third places

Vijayawada: The Hans India, HMTV’s Amaravati Kings kabaddi team won the first Journalists Republican Services Kabaddi League (RSKL) Championship which was held at PB Siddhartha Arts and Science College in the city on Sunday. In the final match, The Hans India, HMTV’s Amaravati Kings beat Prajasakti’s State Risers by 29-28 points and won the cup.

In the final match, Amaravati Kings team players have played well from the beginning. Team players Sudhakar, Narasimha, Wesley, Prasad, Srinivas, Uma Mahesh, Satyanarayana, Srimannarayana and others exhibited their talent and helped to clinch the trophy.

Amaravati Kings took complete lead in the first half, while in the second half the opponent Prajasakti players aggressively played and improved the team’s score.

But, in the last minute the Amaravati Kings took one point and won the championship. Eenadu, ETV’s Indrakeeladri Arrows and RSKL’s Budha Saints secured third and fourth places.

Later, prize distribution function was held at Siddhartha College. Krishna Zilla Parishad chairperson Gadde Anuradha, Vijayawada Central MLA Bonda Uma Maheswara Rao, Andhra Hospital Managing Director Dr Ramana Murthy, Krishna District Olympic Association (KDOA) secretary KP Rao, senior journalist and shield sponsor Krushechev, Kabaddi Association president Ch Venkateswara Rao, RSKL organiser Nagesh and others were present.
