Payakaraopeta (Visakhapatnam): Two Sri Prakash Educational Institutions have been selected out of eight schools chosen from Andhra
Pradesh and 257 schools from across the country after screening 12,000 applications sent by various schools for promoting Atal Tinkering
Laboratories, an ambitious programme, introduced under the Atal Innovation Mission.

The two selected schools include Sri Prakash Vidya Niketan (CBSE), Payakaraopeta and Sri Prakash Synergy School, Peddapuram. Local
MLA Vangalapudi Anitha congratulated the Sri Prakash management at a meeting held on the school premises. She hoped that in future, many
students would become scientists from these two institutions to serve the country.

The opportunity has been given only to such institutions, which implement the traditions and values of NITI Commission (National Institution for
Transforming India), she added. Mandal educational officer R Satyanarayana termed the securing the selection for Atal Tinkering Labs as a
good opportunity for school children to grow as scientists.

Joint Secretary of Sri Prakash Educational Institutions Vijay Prakash expressing happiness revealed that he was planning to allow the
government and the neighbouring schools to utilise these labs for ultimate good of mankind. Senior principal M V V S Murty, vice-principal
Paresh Kumar Das, Sessions Degree College principal K Veerraju, mandal TDP president P Chittibabu and students participated in the meeting.
