Three killed as lorry hits auto

Kurnool: Three persons died on the spot and several others were seriously injured in a road accident at N Rangapuram of Peauply mandal in
Kurnool district in the wee hours of Sunday. According to Peauply Circle Inspector G Prasad, some residents of Vengalampalli village had
boarded an auto and were headed to N Rangapuram in search of work.

Their auto was hit by a speeding lorry near N Rangapuram resulting in the death of three passengers instantaneously. The injured were rushed
to Dhone general hospital. The condition of one of the injured turned critical and he was shifted to Kurnool general hospital. After the accident,
the lorry driver fled. from the scene.
