Calling Jayalalithaa a fighter after battling with the struggles for 75 days, Chandrababu said that the country has lost a powerful and visionary leader adding that she will find a place within the hearts of many even after her demise.

Lauding her for popular welfare measures and schemes for the people of Tamil Nadu, the Chief Minister said that Jayalalithaa stood as an inspiration throughout her political career.

Chandrababu said that he would be paying his tributes to the departed leader in person. The dead body of Jayalalithaa was kept at Rajaji Hall for people to pay last respects while the Tamil Nadu government declated three days holidays to all educational institutions.
