A 34-year-old international Basket Ball Trainer and an American player Jaja Richards conducted Skill Development Camp for the Andhra Loyola College Basket Ball players at Loyola grounds in the city on Monday. The International coach Richards came to India on invitation of Life Styles Media and Vinod Nagulabadu. He also conducted a camp at Namburu in Guntur district for school students.

Jaja Richards has been organising training sessions at Orlando, Florida in America. The 6.8 feet tall coach easily shoots the ball into the basket. The International coach has taught Basket Ball techniques like dribbling, passing and shooting. He gave coaching by playing his son Jaja Arjuna Richards at the Basket Ball court. The little Richards playing style attracted the college students and spectators.

Speaking on the occasion Jaja Richards said that Asian countries are giving utmost importance to Basket Ball. Everyone can play the game to know the techniques, he said. He would go to China to coach in January, he said. Tall people should choose the game and improve the techniques by playing many tournaments, he added. Andhra Loyola College Physical Director Nagendra Kumar organised the event.
