APNGOs district body elected unanimously
The Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers Association (APNGOs) Srikakulam district body was elected unanimously on Tuesday as only single set of nominations were filed for all 15 posts in the body.
Srikakulam: The Andhra Pradesh Non-Gazetted Officers Association (APNGOs) Srikakulam district body was elected unanimously on Tuesday as only single set of nominations were filed for all 15 posts in the body.
Therefore, the election officers confirmed unanimous election of the body. Election was held for the posts of president, associate president, five vice-presidents, secretary, organising secretary, four joint secretaries, joint secretary (woman) and treasurer posts. For all these posts only one set of nominations was filed till 3 pm on Tuesday as it was the last day for filing of nominations.
After 3 pm, election officer M Venkateswar Reddy announced the result. Medical department employee Hanumanthu Sairam was elected as president, B Harikrishna as associate president, RVN Sharma as secretary, K Jaya Rao as organising secretary, K Srinivasa Rao as treasurer, five persons were elected as vice-presidents and another five persons, including a woman, were elected as joint secretaries.
