Atmakur (Kurnool): Rayalaseema United Forum (RUF) MLC candidate T Nagarjuna Reddy has sought to know why MLAs and MLCs did not raise the injustice done to the Rayalaseema region in legislative fora.

Talking to The Hans India here on Tuesday, Nagarjuna Reddy, who is the choice of 24 Rayalaseema organisations for the graduates’ constituency, alleged that all political outfits rendered injustice to the region protecting their own interests. He dared political outfits to furnish details of Ministers, MLAs and MLCs, who had raised the issue of high court to Rayalaseema, railway zone to Guntakal, steel factory in Kadapa district and Siddeswaram Weir issues.

He demanded the State government to identify the Rayalaseema share of the Krishna waters stored in Srisailam project. He asked Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu to come out with details of quota for Rayalaseema unemployed in Amaravati region. The rulers of the State are partisan towards the region as it has only 52 MLAs. To fight against the discrimination, he said, he is jumping into the MLC elections. Rayalaseema Vimochana Samiti president Ramakrishna also spoke.
