Visakhapatnam: As per the directions of the State government, Collector Praveen Kumar called for an emergency meeting at the Collectorate on Tuesday to pay homage to Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu Jayalalithaa who passed away on Monday night.
The Collector, district officials and employees observed a two-minute silence as a mark of respect to the departed soul.
Additional Joint Collector D V Reddy, DRO Chandrasekhara Reddy, superintendents and staff were present.
