He said, “In the meeting of MRPS, Union Minister M Venkaiah Naidu supported the demand of SC categorisation. The very next day he backtracked and said that they will take a decision only after deciding if the categorisation could be made in the Telugu States, or else across the country.
Furthermore, he said that Venkaiah Naidu should take responsibility for providing Special Category Status to the State, which he demanded for 10 years in Parliament. “We request the SCs to be united and not fall prey to the power tactics of the politicians. Politicians are trying to divide Dalits and their votes in the name of categorisation and weaken us,” he pointed out.
