SP lauds services of home guards

Kadapa: The district police celebrated Home Guards Raising Day at Police Parade Grounds here on Tuesday. After receiving the guard of honour, District SP PHD Ramakrishna lauded the services of home guards. He said that the State government has been implementing several welfare schemes for home guards and urged them to make use of schemes.

Later, the SP presented awards to the best home guards and who stood winners and runners in the sports meet conducted to mark the occasion. Additional SP (Operations) B Satya Yesu Babu, Armed Reserve DSP N Muralidhar and other police officials were present.
