Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh Legislative Council Assurances Committee chairman Gali Muddu Krishnama Naidu said the State government was giving top priority to provide road connectivity to capital city Amaravati from various districts in the State.

Muddu Krishnama Naidu said the Chief Minister wants to develop roads in Amaravati like roads in Hyderabad city.

Addressing a press conference, here on Wednesday, Muddu Krishnama Naidu said that the State government was giving priority to construct an outer ring road and an inner ring road in new capital city and efforts are being made to lay Anantapur- Amaravati Express Highway with international standards.

He also said the State government was keen on improving facilities in government hospitals State-wide and establish 100 dialysis centres along with doctors and paramedical staff.

Malaria cases have declined in the State due to efforts made by the State government. Earlier, Muddu Krishnama Naidu held a review meeting with officials of National Highways Authority, Road and Buildings and Medical and Health departments.

He reviewed of the progress of various development works proposed by State Ministers. MLCs P J Chandrashekar, P Sudhakarababu, Budda Venkanna, Collector Babu A, Joint Collector Gandham Chandrudu and others were present.
