The advisory committee appointed by the Central government over the cashless transactions will be heading for their first meeting in Mumbai on Thursday.

Comprising of 13 Chief Ministers across the country, the committee will be chaired by Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu. While a meeting was already held through video conference where the Chief Ministers expressed the several concerns in their states over the demonetization move, the first meeting will take place today.

The Chief Ministers are likely to take up measures to adopt cashless transactions and also to urge people to do the same.
