‘Badi Runam Thirchukundam’ programme concludes
Vijayawada: G. Srinivasulu, SSA state Project Director, said on Thursday that Rs 8.38 crore was collected in different forms from the donors for the programme ‘Badi Runam Thirchukundam’ for the development of government schools in the State. He participated in ‘Badu Runam Teerchukundam’ programme conducted at AKTP ZP high school at Satyanarayanapuram on Thursday.
Vijayawada: G. Srinivasulu, SSA state Project Director, said on Thursday that Rs 8.38 crore was collected in different forms from the donors for the programme ‘Badi Runam Thirchukundam’ for the development of government schools in the State.
He participated in ‘Badu Runam Teerchukundam’ programme conducted at AKTP ZP high school at Satyanarayanapuram on Thursday.
Participating in the closing ceremony of ‘Badi Runam Thirchukundam’, J Srinivasulu said that the programme was started on November 24 and concluded on December 8 with programmes being conducted every day at one district successfully, he added.
He informed that a diary has been published with the names of donors who donated amount of Rs 8.38 crore to this programme. He said the details are updated online.
Krishna district SSA project officer K D V M Prasadbabu has said the Badi Runam Teerchukundam evoked response from the former students.
He said Rs.93 lakh collected in Krishna district alone. Krishna district DEO A Subbareddy, Dy Educational Officers K Durga Prasad and K Ravi Kumar, School HM S Srinivasa Rao, local corporator Mahesh and others participated in the event.
