Collector seeks ryots cooperation

Vijayawada: Krishna district in-charge Collector G Chandrudu said that the district officials would cooperate with farmers, who had given lands to the metro project, and pay compensation to them. In-charge Collector conducted a meeting at the Collector’s camp office here on Thursday with farmers who are giving agriculture lands for the metro project in Nidamaru.
Vijayawada: Krishna district in-charge Collector G Chandrudu said that the district officials would cooperate with farmers, who had given lands to the metro project, and pay compensation to them.
In-charge Collector conducted a meeting at the Collector’s camp office here on Thursday with farmers who are giving agriculture lands for the metro project in Nidamaru.
Chandrudu said that the government is not ready to destroy the agriculture lands in the name of metro rail project, but it is necessary to develop the State on par with other States, he said.
Hence, the farmers should cooperate and give lands for the development of the State, he suggested.
