Amaravati: Health Minister Kamineni Srinivas dashed off a letter to Opposition leader Y S Jaganmohan Reddy, objecting his recent remarks on the implementation of NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme.

Speaking to mediapersons at Interim Secretariat Complex at Velagapudi here on Thursday, Kamineni said that Opposition leader was worried about his ill-fate after successful implementation of NTR Vaidya Seva Scheme.

He took a strong exception to Jagan’s remarks of poor implementation of the health scheme, which was creating problems for the poor.

He said the government has spent Rs 1,063 crore for this scheme last year and medical aid has been enhanced from Rs 2 lakh to Rs 2.5 lakh, but the Opposition leader is overlooking the facts.

YSRC chief should also know the rise in number of health card users from 1.32 to 1.76 per cent. He wondered how the Opposition leader criticized the health services which are being implemented without any lapses.
