Minister pitches for cashless transactions
Guntur: Minister for agriculture Prathipati Pulla Rao called upon the people to make cashless transactions to solve small denomination currency problems. He was speaking at a meeting held under the aegis of Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas in the city on Thursday to create awareness among people on cashless transactions.

He was speaking at a meeting held under the aegis of Mission for Elimination of Poverty in Municipal Areas in the city on Thursday to create awareness among people on cashless transactions.
Speaking on the occasion, he said people, who have debit card or credit card can make cashless payments to solve change problem.
Initially, it would be difficult to make cashless transactions, but gradually they would attune to it.
He said Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu is striving to encourage people to make cashless transactions and keep the State in first in the country in cashless transactions.
He said if cashless transactions are made, fake notes circulation will come down and change problem will be solved. He said all the government employees and pensioners are having bank accounts in the district and urged them to use their debit card.
He urged the women to use Rypay cards. He urged those not having bank accounts open bank accounts immediately and start cashless transactions.
