Amaravati: The Group of Ministers (GOM) chaired by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishunudu took decision to introduce new policy for providing permissions through online for high-rise buildings and layouts. The GOM comprising Ministers Yanamala Ramakrishna, P Narayana and Siddha Raghava Rao reviewed the Urban Development Policy held in a meeting at Interim Secretariat Complex at Velagapudi here
Amaravati: The Group of Ministers (GOM) chaired by Finance Minister Yanamala Ramakrishunudu took decision to introduce new policy for providing permissions through online for high-rise buildings and layouts.
The GOM comprising Ministers Yanamala Ramakrishna, P Narayana and Siddha Raghava Rao reviewed the Urban Development Policy held in a meeting at Interim Secretariat Complex at Velagapudi here on Friday.
On this occasion, they discussed the representations with 30 points which were given by representatives of real estate and builders’ lobby for introducing new policy.
Mainly, the GOM discussed the point raised by builders to introduce online permissions for multi-floor buildings and layouts in the similar model of permissions granting for residential construction.
The builders also sought permissions under single window system.
The Ministers said that whether new system could be implemented or not that would be decided after discussing with officials and Chief Minister in next week days.
Later, at Cabinet Sub Committee meeting headed by Yanamala Ramakrishna has decided to allot 261 plots for Mahamadeeya Cooperative Society.
The committee has been appointed to review the usage and legality of Hazarat Galib Shahib Dargah of Vijayawada lands which are in the limits of Gollapudi village which is on the city outskirts.
The committee also resolved to conduct an inquiry in the next four weeks on the complaints received for 171 plots, said Minister Palle Raghunatha Reddy.
