The YSRC MLA Alla Ramakrishna Reddy petitioned the high court seeking prosecution of Naidu.

The court however ruled that there is no locus standi in the case and it can't come under Prevention of Corruption Act.

It may be recalled that the ACB special court had directed the probe agency to reinvestigate the case against Chandrababu Naidu on a private complaint filed by the YSRC MLA Reddy.

Buoyed by the court judgment, Chandrababu launched a blistering attack on the opposition parties in the state for allegedly creating hurdles to his development vision.

He charged that the YSRC chief Jaganmohan Reddy was trying to stall the Polavaram project fearing electoral reverses in the upcoming elections if the project was completed.

Suspending his visit to Dubai, the CM got into disaster management mode even as the cyclone vardha looms over
the state monitoring cyclone situation.

He appointed four special officers to handle the cyclonic situation each in Nellore, Chittoor, Prakasam and Kadapa districts, now reeling under cyclonic threat.
