According to official sources, TTD netted an income of Rs 1.83 crore through the hundi offerings in holy shrine on Saturday, despite a second Saturday.
TTD official said that the number of pilgrims who had darshan from 3 am to 6 pm today (Saturday) was 58,121.
The income jumped up immediately after the demonetisation with the offering amount ranging from Rs 3 to 3.6 crore which is Rs 40 to 50 lakh more than the average income through hundi till November end.
But the hundi income started to slide down below Rs 2.5 crore in the last one week and further down to Rs 1.83 now indicating the after-effect of the note ban.
