CRDA officials held a meeting with officials and representatives of R V consultants and China’s Guizhou International Investment Corporation (GIIC) at CRDA office in Kedareswarapet on Monday to discuss on creating infrastructure facilities in Amaravati.

Addressing the meeting, Amaravati Development Corporation chairman D Lakshmi Parthasaradi said that officials and consultants of CRDA should focus more on providing modern drainage system and drinking water supply in Amaravati.

She asked consultants to study on feasibility of setting up Intekwell water plant in Undavalli village.

She urged the consultants to prepare water-tight plans to avoid problems in creating infrastructure in new capital city.

Plans on sufficient water supply in Amaravati should be needed at the initial level of construction of capital city, she said.

She told consultants that they should take into account the future population in the city as they prepare plans on water supply to Amaravati.
